Logline

A sketch comedy series that takes everyday situations and characters to the extreme - all to answer one question: How far is TooFar?

Synopsis

It is a sketch comedy series that flips ordinary situations into outrageous and exaggerated moments, testing just how far we can push each scenario. Each episode dives into relatable characters and everyday situations before turning them upside down, transforming the mundane into the wildey unpredictable. TooFar is about finding the funny in the unexpected and exploring the limits of comedy, one laugh at a time.

Concept Overview

Relatable Comedy, Surreal Situations

  • Character-Driven Comedy: Memorable, uniquely flawed characters who take relatable problems and crank up the chaos

  • Stand Alone Sketch Series with the opportunity for re-occurring characters

  • Each character and sketch embodies a “What if?” scenario that audiences recognize but amplify in surprising and clever ways.

  • The show’s universe is a mirror of reality—only distorted, stretched, and intensified to bring out the full comedic potential of each scenario

Meet Some of The Characters

THE CHIROPRACTOR

The Accident-Prone Chiropractor represents the everyday professional who, despite his good intentions, can’t quite escape his own disastrous results. His never-ending attempts to “fix” his mistakes lead him into becoming the worlds most notorious serial killer.

The Drug-Savvy Detectives use their questionable past experiences to investigate a crime. This sketch brings a unique twist to the detective genre, using comedic irony to play with conventional crime-solving tropes.

THE REALTOR

The Haunted House Realtor takes an everyday job and spins it on its head. He’s fully aware of his challenge but remains steadfastly optimistic, humorously battling supernatural forces and skeptical buyers with equal intensity.

Tone

Each Sketch is different! so we embrace the ridiculousness of each situation without losing sight of the real-life frustrations and awkwardness that make these scenarios so relatable with moments of exaggerated, larger-than-life reactions

Style

Cinematic visuals, treating each sketch like a short film allows the comedy to build visually alongside the dialogue.

It is immersive and high-quality, featuring dynamic camera work, atmospheric lighting, and detailed set design that make even the most surreal situations feel like they could happen in real life.

Our Creative Vision

TooFar was born out of our love for pushing boundaries and finding comedy in the most unexpected places. Our inspiration came from observing how the most mundane, relatable situations can quickly escalate into absurdity when viewed through a comedic lens. We wanted to create a show that takes everyday characters and scenarios and challenges them, seeing just how far we can take each moment before it collapses into chaos.

In today’s world, audiences crave humor that’s authentic, surprising, and a bit daring. They want to laugh at things they recognize but also be taken on a journey that goes beyond the predictable. TooFar meets this demand by blending familiar setups with twists that are both wildly exaggerated and genuinely reflective of the awkward, often ridiculous nature of real life.

We believe this type of comedy resonates because it mirrors the unpredictability of modern life in a way that’s cathartic, relatable, and endlessly entertaining. It’s a style of humor that’s bold and unfiltered—perfect for a generation that’s seen it all but still wants to be surprised. TooFar captures this spirit, offering viewers both a fresh perspective and a chance to laugh at the wonderfully bizarre extremes of the everyday.

The Interns - TooFar? EP 2.

The Search History

In a chaotic court hearing, Tommy, a notoriously dangerous serial killer, faces the judge as shocking evidence unfolds. The judge reads aloud Tommy’s Google search history from the night of his latest suspected murder, revealing a juxtaposition between frantic queries on how and where to dispose of a body and questions about the after effects of eating raw chicken.

The Parking Ticket

It’s Jason Bourne reimagined as a parking ticket officer. Tommy stealthily patrols the streets, eyes laser-focused on illegal parking. As he zeroes in on a rogue vehicle, tension mounts with every step, complete with adrenaline-fueled chase scenes and narrow escapes from unsuspecting drivers. Meanwhile, he juggles the fallout from giving a ticket to his girlfriend just yesterday, trying to maintain their relationship while navigating the chaos of his high-stakes ticketing mission.

The Airplane

Assuming its all routine, Tommy agrees to be tasked with overseeing "standard" safety protocols on a flight, but as the flight takes a series of extreme turns, he’s forced to perform emergency surgery, crash-land the plane, and lead a survival mission on a deserted island.
